Dr. Sachs is a native of Southern Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Science degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland--Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Dr. Sachs and his family reside in Leonardtown, MD.

Dr. Sachs has been practicing in Solomons since 1991.
